This New Mexican firecracker has food running through her veins. Growing up, her family owned a restaurant in their local town. It was in this environment she had the privilege of learning from at a very young age. Her passion for cooking was sparked and, as a young adult, she acquired her Pastry Chef Certificate from Le Cordon Blu.
Over the years, she’s not only worked with some of the best Chefs in the Denver market but also worked with some of the largest Corporate restaurants in town. Working in a high stress and high volume environment is nothing new to Melissa and a place where her culinary strengths shine.
Her dream to share her magnificent pastry skills is what motivated her to take a bold move and leave her last position. While growing her budding business, she continues to share her love for cooking with others via Denver Cooking Classes.
When not in the kitchen creating a masterpiece, Melissa enjoys the Denver food scene as well as taking her pup, Lily, on adventures.
